BOTLEYS MANSION is an 18th century Grade II listed Palladian style Mansion House originally built in 1765.

In 1995 a major fire destroyed many of the features and it was totally renovated under the watchful eye of English Heritage into the European HQ for EDS but as a showcase also to look and perform like a country house. A number of specialist companies with experience in grade II refurbishment were drafted in for the £6.5million project. Companies who were involved in the Windsor Castle restoration were used for restoration of the wood and the gold leaf. An 18th Century building historian was contracted to advise on aspects of the decor such as the chandeliers and the wall-coverings, which were all hand-painted with period designs unique for the building.

Just acquired by Bijou Wedding Venues, the1st floor of the building will be transformed into a dozen bedroom suites with the principal one being a grand Bridal Suite.

The building will then truly be a grand home again with the beautiful reception rooms now being used as designed for entertaining (and Civil Ceremonies), a grand Banqueting Hall for your Wedding Breakfast and the superb bedrooms for you and your closest friends and family.

Botleys Mansion will open for viewings in late September 2009 and be ready to host its first wedding in December this year (with some of the bedrooms ready) and all twelve bedrooms will be completed by Spring 2010 in time for the main wedding season.
